  • Salman Khan always has a knack of knowing what casting would work the best for a movie. It was his idea to cast Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the character of the Pakistani reporter, Chand Nawab. It was the third most important character in the film after Bajrangi and Munni. Since Salman had worked with Nawaz in ‘Kick’, he knew that the character couldn’t be played by anyone better than Nawazuddin. The rest, as we know, is history.
