Before Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Here are two-hero Bollywood movies that have impressed us

On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff shared the first rushes of their upcoming film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The two stars are working together for the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial venture and fans are pretty pumped up to this two-hero. Speaking of which, this is not the first film where we have seen two superstars together in one film. Before Bade Miyan Chote Miyan happened, top two-hero Bollywood movies like Karan- Arjun, Sholay, Andaz Apna Apna, Ram Lakhan, War, Student Of The Year have impressed us with their bro code and bromance.

Mind you, we have not incorporated those two-hero movies where they are seen as rivals. Since we are here to spread happiness and love, we have selected only the top movies that have sort of attained cult status in the history of cinema.

Karan- Arjun: This is one of the most iconic films of all time. The Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan starter redefined the definition of brothers. In the movie, they were shown as brothers who were inseparable; however, due to some tragic events, they were killed and were later, reincarnated.

Sholay: This movie gave us the friendship anthem ‘Yeh Dosti’, do we even need to say anything more than this? Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra were the ultimate brothers and their chemistry was quite scintillating. The two ensured to make you laugh and to make you emotional.

Andaz Apna Apna: Aamir Khan and Salman are like the foes who turned brothers for life. They were seen as each other’s nemesis but later, they have had their back. Even though their fought like cat and dogs in the movie, it is the comic timing that made them iconic.

Dostana: Can two handsome heterosexual men pretend to be homosexual? Well, that we got to see in Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham starrer and we loved how they managed to convince us with their roles.

War: Again, we got to see two handsome hunks onscreen which was enough to sell us. We know that they were seen as colleagues and in the later part, they are shown as rivals but you cannot deny that the two were really awesome as a duo. They were like that brothers who won’t show affection and care for each other from outside but it is quite otherwise.

Student Of The Year: Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra showed us college bromance. Right from bunking lectures to do velagiri together, they were awesome twosome.

Ram Lakhan: In the film, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor who played the role of Ram and Lakhan respectively are the duo who will take over the bad guys that moment they hurt their family. Now, isn’t that the best part of being brothers.
