List of Bollywood movies releasing this week (September 20)

Just like last week, this week too we have not just one but three films hitting the silver screens. We have political drama ‘Prassthanam’,  romantic-drama ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ and ‘The Zoya Factor’ releasing this Friday.

From last week’s ‘Pehlwaan’, ‘Section 375’ and ‘Dream Girl’, it’s Ayushmann Khurrana starrer that has taken the box-office by storm. The film has already become the highest opener of Ayushmann’s career so far. ‘Section 375’ has received mixed reviews from the critics, whereas ‘Pehlwaan’ failed to live up to people’s expectation.

‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’

Directed by Sunny Deol, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ stars Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba in the lead. The film will mark the Bollywood debut of both Karan and Sahher. The film’s songs and trailer have received a moderate response so far. While its makers have left no stone unturned to promote the film, it has to be seen if Karan is able to live up to the legacy of his father and grandfather.

‘The Zoya Factor’

Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in this film adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel of the same name. While Sonam and Dulquer’s chemistry is palpable in the film’s trailer and songs, we are looking forward to watching how the story pans out on the silver screen. The film follows the story of a girl, Zoya Solanki (Sonam), who becomes a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket team during the Cricket World Cup, however, the skipper Nikhil Khoda (Dulquer) doesn’t believe in luck and superstitions. Abhishek Sharma has directed this adaptation.

This political action drama is helmed by Deva Katta. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, and Amyra Dastur. Its story revolves around the war for legacy and integrity. The film is produced under Sanjay Dutt’s banner Sanjay S Dutt Productions.
