The famous and successful actor of Bollywood, Rishi Kapoor has his origins in Pakistan. Rishi Kapoor's grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor was born in Lyallpur,Faisalabad in Pakistan. Rishi Kapoor's father Raj Kapoor was born in in Peshawar in a mansion that belonged to Prithviraj Kapoor’s father. They later on moved from Peshawar into Punjab for residence and for education.

Yash Chopra

Late Yash Chopra was an Indian film director, script writer and film producer, predominantly working in Hindi cinema. Yash Chopra was born in Lahore, Pakistan and he was largely brought up in the Lahore. Yash Chopra went to Jalandhar in 1945 to continue his education, and studied at Doaba College, Jalandhar. He moved to Ludhiana in Punjab after the partition.

Govinda's father Arun Kumar Ahuja, was born in pre-partition Gujranwala, Punjab, which is now part of Punjab in Pakistan in 1917.
