We’ve heard it countless times that ‘Social Media has its own pros and cons’, Pros being you can speak your mind out on the digital platform but then the con is that someone else can too. Especially in a place like Twitter, this happens a lot and later it snowballs into a full-fledged Twitter war.

For some, social media is the best place to pick up a fight with the people whom you hate the most or if somebody is messing up with you. Just sit with your computer or cell phone and make sure you give everyone a piece of your mind.

Here we bring you the most spoken of Bollywood’s Twitter war which made it to the headlines.

Sonam Kapoor V/S Shobha De

Sonam Kapoor’s acting skills in ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ were not praised by anybody. Famous blogger, Shobha De, wrote in her blog that Sonam Kapoor lacked energy in the movie. Sonam got very furious with this and tweeted “Guys please don’t take Shobha De seriously. She’s a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause”. She did have to apologize for the tweet later.

Karan Johar V/S Ram Gopal Varma

During the release of Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Kurbaan’, RGV tweeted, “(have) got a better idea… I will make ‘My name is Raavan’ and Mani should make ‘Raavan Ki Kurbaan’.” To which Karan Johar replied by tweeting, “You have an amazing sense of humour Ramu (Varma)! Never shows up in your films though“. RGV couldn’t take this and slammed Karan Johar by posting, “If someone takes off from Karan Johar’s Student of the Year and makes Teacher of the year it will become the Disaster of the year.” KJo’s reply to this was “Disaster of the year is your territory Ramu…no one can ever replace the comfortable place you have made for yourself there.”

Twinkle Khanna V/S Chetan Bhagat

After Twinkle Khanna gathered all the compliments from her fans for her writing skills, one of her fans tweeted, “You are an amazing writer, you don’t need to change your name to Chetali Bhagat.” To which, Twinkle replied, “I do! He gets to judge Nach Baliye and I get to judge if that gross thing on my floor is dog puke or poop #SuchIsLife.” This may have hurt Chetan Bhagat at a very bad place when he taunted the actress by tweeting, “Well, I’d say you have the bigger challenge girl.. By the way, how do you tell the difference between the two anyway?”
Twinkle Khanna retorted with the tweet, “It’s a short life-if lucky enough to get opportunities to do diverse things then one should @chetan_bhagat write a bestseller about it too.”

After such an insult Chetan had nothing but to point out at her worst movies, “You nailed it.. It is YOLO.. Nobody offered me Barsaat, or Baadshah… Else you know..” To which she gave a witty reply, “Well if u were taller,had more hair u could have got bobbydeol’s role & if were way cooler,than Srk would be jobless:)”.

Chetan Bhagat was speechless after this tweet.

Kamaal R Khan V/S Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra

KRK took a dig on Sonakshi Sinha and Parineeti Chopra by posting the below picture on Facebook and mentioning these actress as ‘Sumo Wrestler’. Later on, in a series of tweets, he tagged actresses like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Parineeti Chopra asking his fans which of these actresses had the biggest butt in Bollywood.
Sonakshi Sinha couldn’t take this at all and couldn’t stop herself from tweeting, “Please RT this if u think @kamaalrkhan is a woman disrespecting waste of space and deserves to be hung upside down and given 4 tight slaps.”

Anupam Kher V/S Shirish Kunder

Anupam Kher is known for his outspoken and straight to the point comments. He has always been vocal about the situations that affect him and well even in the recent controversy of Aamir Khan over his intolerance remark, Anupam Kher created a lot of buzz. He was among the first to share his opinion over Aamir’s remark. He said,

These were indeed some strong opinions shared by this veteran actor. But things went a little out of hand when Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder commented on one of the tweets of Anupam. He said.

Ameesha Patel V/S Kushal Tandon

Ameesha Patel and Kushal Tandon created quite a scene on Twitter for probably no reason. Ameesha Patel lashed out on ‘Bigg Boss’ fame Kushal Tandon when he posted a comment on this beautiful lady. He probably encountered her in a cinema hall and when she didn’t stand up for the national anthem, he took it to the internet to show his disapproval towards Ameesha’s act. He thought that she showed disrespect to the national anthem and questioned her patriotism. But this post of Kushal, to promote patriotism, backfired at him as Ameesha lashed out at him furiously. Abhishek Bachchan V/S Twitter Account named ‘Bollywood Gandu’

Just like his father, Abhishek Bachchan is a well-spoken man. But if you mess with him, he will surely not spare you from his witty remarks. Bollywood Gandu aka Karan Talwar, known for taking potshots at celebrities, got a taste of his own medicine when he came in Junior Bachchan’s radar. A verbal war broke out between the two when Bollywood Gandu questioned Abhishek’s ability as an actor.

The recent Twitter war which drew eyeballs was the one fought between Sidharth Malhotra and Kamaal R Khan. The latter passed some comment on Alia Bhatt’s bikini pictures which irked the former and hence the war. KRK called Alia Bhatt ‘bachhi’ to which Sidharth replied,
