Megastar Chiranjeevi is celebrating his birthday today. In his career spanning over decades, the actor has given so many amazing performances that even today we can enjoy them. 1. Indra (2002)
Indra is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by B. Gopal. This film was later dubbed into Hindi, Tamil and Bhojpuri. And was remade in Bengali as Dada. This highly commercial drama took home several Filmfare, Nandi and CineMAA awards.

2. Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (1990)
Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari is considered the most influential Telugu film. This crowd-puller broke all the records and had over a 100-day run in theatres.  The supernatural fantasy film was directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Produced by C. Ashwini Dutt, the film stars Chiranjeevi, Sridevi, Amrish Puri, Kannada Prabhakar, Allu Ramalingaiah, and Rami Reddy.

3. Khaidi (1983)
When talking about his best movies or top performances then the list is incomplete without the mention of Khaidi. Directed by Kodandarami Reddy, this movie was his first blockbuster. In the drama, he played the role of a son whose only goal was to avenge his father’s death. The film is loosely based on the 1982 film First Blood. In 1984, it was remade in Hindi as Qaidi and featured Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini and Madhavi.

4. Rudraveena (1988)
This musical drama was written and directed by K. Balachander. Produced by Nagendra Babu’s Anjana Productions, the film stars Chiranjeevi and Shobana alongside Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan. The film won three National Film Awards and also won four Nandi Awards.

5. Swayamkrushi (1987)
The film follows the life of a self-educated cobbler’s journey from rags to riches. This social drama was helmed by none other than K Vishwanath. This 1987 movie was the first Telugu film to be dubbed into Russian. The special screening of the movie was held at the Moscow International Film Festival, International Film Festival of India, and Asia Pacific Film Festival.
