Apoorva Arora is more than just a talented actor—she’s also a trained dancer whose deep-rooted love for movement reflects across her Instagram. From graceful spins to experimental freestyle moves, her feed is a vibrant archive of her long and ongoing journey in dance.
Speaking about where it all began, Apoorva shared, “I honestly don’t remember when I started dancing—I was really young. My parents would probably know better. But I do remember learning Kathak in school, and it was my teacher who first noticed my interest and encouraged my parents to let me pursue it seriously.”
What began as an early spark quickly turned into structured training. Apoorva initially joined a neighborhood Kathak school and steadily progressed, ultimately making it to Kathak Kendra, one of India’s premier institutions for classical dance. “I learnt for a couple of years there and if I had not moved to Mumbai for acting, I would have completed the entire tenure course,” she said.
But her passion didn’t stop at classical forms. Over the years, Apoorva has dabbled in Latin American styles, studied street jazz under Ashton Lobo, and trained briefly at Shiamak Davar’s Institute, where she picked up hip-hop and Bollywood-style dance. More recently, she has been exploring mixed dance forms and even learning belly dance.
Her Instagram is a true reflection of this eclectic dance journey—full of expressive snippets, soulful choreography, and rhythmic joy. For fans, it’s not just entertainment—it’s a window into a side of Apoorva that’s rooted in discipline, passion, and an undying love for dance.
