Katrina Kaif, who turns 33 today, had a small pre-birthday bash, with some close friends in attendance. The actress’ mother and two sisters were already in town, doubling up her happiness. The interesting fact was that this small party had taken place at Karan Kapadia’s house, who is interior designer-writer Twinkle Khanna’s cousin.

Katrina looked enthralling in a simple red dress, complete with a freshly swept, no-makeup look. Her guest list included biggies like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, her ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ director Kabir Khan with wife Mini Mathur, Sidharth Malhotra and many more celebrities. Not surprisingly, ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor was missing.
