Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif is currently one of the top actresses in the Bollywood industry. But did you know the actress had almost decided to quit the industry? Yes, you read that right! Katrina wanted to give up on acting after her 2007 movie, Namaste London which also featured Akshay Kumar in the lead. The actress in an episode of Koffee With Karan said, “When I saw the film, I was terrified. I just saw too much of me in the film and you start believing what people say. I was like, ‘No, no, no, people can’t see me in a film, they won’t watch the film, it’s a disaster. This is over, my life is over.’ I was like, ‘I am packing my bags and I am going to find a new career'”

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan had reportedly made up his mind of giving up on Bollywood. He stated that he was disappointed with the continuous failure of his movies. During his interaction with RJ Siddharth Kanan, the Dasvi actor said: “At one point in time, I felt it was my mistake that I came into the industry as whatsoever I was trying, it was not working. I went to my dad and said maybe I am not made for this industry.” Later, Amitabh Bachchan changed Abhishek’s mind after giving him a valuable advice.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan rose to fame overnight with his debut film, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Just like Katrina Kaif, Hrithik Roshan had also thought of giving him on acting. In an old interview with IANS, the Vikram Vedha actor said: “I worked on Kites only for seven months. Before that I was trying to treat my knee. For six months there was no sign of recovering from my knee pain. That time I thought either I will turn to singing or direct a film.”

Sanjay Mishra

Sanjay has received accolades for his roles in Golmaal, Kaamyaab, Ankhon Dekhi, Masaan and Dum Laga Ke Haisha. However, there was a time when the actor had quit Bollywood. In an interview, he stated that he was very unwell and due to stomach infection and after he was treated for it, fifteen days later, he father passed away, which broke the actor and he decided to go to Rishikesh and there he started working in a dhaba for Rs 150. It was Rohit Shetty’s call that made him return to Mumbai and the filmmaker urged Mishra to return to acting with All the Best, which released in 2009.
