One of the top actresses of the 90s, Manisha Koirala defined beauty and talent in a different way. Her performances in films like ‘Dil Se’, ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’ and ‘Mann’ are still fresh in people’s minds and she was also voted as the most beautiful actress then. It was in 2012 that Manisha was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and underwent surgery in the US, and she had to leave Bollywood. She further had to undergo chemotherapy and spend months at the hospital in New York, until she was finally free to go in 2015. The actress is however back to movies and is all set to make her comeback with ‘Mauli’, directed by debutante Promita Sengupta.
