MTV Roadies has always been one of the most-followed reality shows of Indian television not just for the high voltage arguments but also for the adventurous tasks. MTV Roadies kicked off in the year 2003 and Rannvijay was the first-ever winner of the title. He went on to become an active host, and mentor on the show. Now the new producers of the show are planning to change the format of the show with the new season and Rannvijay Singha will no longer be a part of it. He is being replaced by Sonu Sood. The shoot for Roadies Season 18 will begin soon in South Africa and the show is expected to go on air in March on MTV.

Nikhil Chinapa-MTV Splitsvilla

MTV Spitsvilla is an Indian television dating reality show that airs on MTV India. It is based on the American dating reality show Flavor of Love. The reality show revolves around young boys and girls trying to secure a place in the  Villa. It is a ‘hunt for love’ show where they compete in tasks to stay in the competition and mingle with contestants to find love.  It was earlier hosted by  Nikhil Chinapa and Sherlyn Chopra but Sherlyn was replaced by Sunny Leone in season 7. The show is now being hosted by Rannvijay Singh and Sunny Leone.

Anu Malik was a part of Indian Idol along with other popular judges. But after he was accused of sexual allegations in 2018, Anu Malik was forced to quit the show. In 2019, he again returned to the show but was trolled by netizens brutally.

Navjot Singh Sidhu-The Kapil Sharma Show


Navjot Singh Sidhu was a permanent guest of Kapil Sharma’s Show for a long time. He was forced to leave the show for a political remark that went against him. The makers then roped in Archana Puran Singh in his place. She is seen on the popular show with Kapil Sharma since then.

Remo D’souza-Dance India Dance


Ace choreographer Remo D’souza was seen judging Dance India Dance. He along with Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis judged the show for three seasons. But Remo left to judge his own dance show Dance Plus.

Rohit Shetty-Khatron Ke Khiladi

Khatron Ke Khiladi is a stunt-based reality television series based on the American series Fear Factor.  The first and second seasons were hosted by Akshay Kumar.  But for the third season, the makers roped in Priyanka Chopra. Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 was once again hosted by Akshay Kumar. Then came Rohit Shetty who hosted seasons 5 and 6. He was replaced by Arjun Kapoor for season 7. But finally, the makers brought back Rohit Shetty and he has been judging the show since season 8.

One of the most loved Indian television reality shows is Bigg Boss which airs on Colors TV  in India. It follows the format of the Dutch reality game show Big Brother. The show has a host of celebrities isolated from the world living in the Bigg Boss house and fighting for the coveted trophy.  The first season started on 3rd November 2006 and was hosted by Arshad Warsi. Season 2 was hosted by actress Shilpa Shetty. The third season was hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Salman Khan was roped in for Season 4 and since then there has been no looking back.
