Mostly all the films of SRK have done record breaking business in Pakistan. This year’s release ‘Fan’ had a collection of Rs 5 crore in just three days in the neighbouring country.

The actor’s ‘Happy New Year’ had recorded the biggest opening weekend in one of the biggest overseas markets – UAE / GCC.

‘Chennai Express’

In 2013, when ‘Chennai Express’ had released it had recorded the highest opening in North America.

‘My Name Is Khan’

Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan following overseas. ‘My Name Is Khan’ (2010) had a record of the highest opening weekend in UK. The record was later broken by ‘Dhoom 3’ (2013).

‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ / ‘Devdas’

‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ and ‘Devdas’ are at the second position when it comes to winning the maximum number of Filmfare awards. Both the films have won 10 awards respectively.

‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’

The first in the list has to be ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. The movie had released in 1995, and is still running in a theatre named Maratha Mandir in South Mumbai. The movie is India’s longest running film.
