aishwarya rai karan johar

Karan Johar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan share a great bond. The two have been friends for a long time and also worked together in KJo’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which released last year and received a great response.

However, as we all know, Aishwarya’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away recently. Karan was not present to console a distressed Aishwarya at either the funeral or prayer meeting, and soon, rumours started doing rounds that their friendship has hit a rough patch. The filmmaker however shunned the speculations after he visited Ash at her place to console her later on.

And according to recent reports, Karan couldn’t attend the funeral because he was busy with his twins, Yash and Roohi. “Both the kids have been in the NICU ever since they were born. They are supposed to come home any day now. Karan has been spending most of his free time at the hospital or making arrangements for the kids at home,” quoted a website.

Both Karan and Ash haven’t spoken about any problems brewing between the two.
