Is ‘Padmavati’ the reason behind Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s breakup?

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’, and had fallen for each other. Though they haven’t officially announced their relationship, their gestures towards each other clearly proved that they are madly in love. However, nowadays there have been reports of their break, and if reports are to be believed, SLB’s ‘Padmavati’ is the reason behind their split.

A source has been quoted in a leading daily as saying, “Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s relationship hitting a rough patch has something to do with Shahid Kapoor. It was Dippy who was keen on Sasha being cast in ‘Padmavati’. This is something that did not go down well with Ranveer. Not only will Sasha get more screen time with Deepika, he will also have several intimate scenes with her in the film. There is also buzz that Deepika has asked director Sanjay Leela Bhansali to feature just her and Sasha in the film’s first look. This has apparently left Ranveer fuming.”

‘Padmavati’ is Deepika and Ranveer’s third film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, after ‘Ram Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Well, if these reports turn out to be true, it will be like one SLB film got them together, and another one will make them part their ways.
