Their energy and kindness made a lasting impact.
The Barbie team said the couple brought joy to every event they attended, like the Italian Doll Convention and doll shows around the world. They often donated their dolls to raise money for charity.
The tribute ended with a message of deep gratitude, saying, “Barbie is better because they loved the brand.” The post was captioned, “Mario and Gianni, you will be missed.”
About Mario Paglino And Gianni Grossi
Mario and Gianni were more than business partners — they were also a couple. In 1999, they started their company, Magia2000, to design and sell custom Barbie dolls. Their passion for fashion dolls led them to start the Italian Doll Convention. They also worked on Italy’s “Barbie The Icon” exhibition. Magia2000 created Barbie tributes to stars like Cher, Victoria Beckham, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Their biggest inspiration, though, was always Madonna. One of their latest creations was based on Andy Warhol’s famous artwork of Marilyn Monroe.
Mario and Gianni’s creativity and love for Barbie touched fans all over the world. Their legacy will live on through their beautiful work.
