During the Late Night With Seth Meyers, “I have had a pretty intense year,” the Gossip Girl alum shared, according to an audience member at the taping. “This year has been full of the highest and lowest highs of my life,” she added. “I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially now, afraid to share their experience.”

“Fear is by design, it’s what keeps us silent,” Lively continued. “But I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak. So I do feel fortunate that I have been able to.” She emphasised that her four children—James, Inez, Betty, and Olin—have been her anchor. She said, “No matter what day I am having, I have to be Disneyland for them. It’s the best, it’s chaos.”

What Is Going On Between Justin Baldoni-Blake Lively?

This interview marked her first talk show appearance since her feud with Baldoni resurfaced last year following the completion of their film, It Ends With Us. The actress accused Baldoni of s*xual harassment and attempting to tarnish her reputation in a complaint obtained by Page Six in December. She subsequently filed a lawsuit later that month. Lively claimed there was a hands-on meeting where Baldoni was instructed not to show her n*de videos or images of women, nor discuss his previous p*rn addiction. She also asserted that Baldoni was told not to add any extra s*x scenes beyond what was scripted. Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, was also present during this meeting.

At that time, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, denied the allegations. Speaking to Page Six, he said, “shameful that Ms. Lively and her representatives would make such serious and categorically false accusations.” Freedman further stated that a crisis manager was hired because Lively allegedly was. He mentioned, “threatened to not show up on set, threatened to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its failure during release, if her demands were not met.” In January, Baldonu responded with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively.

Baldoni accused Reynolds of becoming aggressive during the aforementioned meeting. Ryan allegedly demanded that Justin apologise to Blake for actions that either never occurred or were severely misrepresented. “The producer said that in his 40-year career, he had never seen anyone speak to someone like that in a meeting,” the lawsuit states. According to the filing, Baldoni only discussed his past p*rn addiction after Lively openly shared that she had never watched p*rn before.
