BTS, JIMIN, COVID-19,

In sad news for BTS ARMY, it was revealed this afternoon that member Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis after experiencing a stomach ache. As per the health update shared by the label, Jimin underwent surgery for the same. He has also tested COVID 19 positive. Jimin is currently recuperating in the hospital.

Army around the world has sent their best wishes to the member who had been missing from social media for a while now.

The official health update announcement from BigHit Music read, “Jimin experienced sudden abdominal pain along with a mildly sore throat on January 30 in the afternoon. He visited a hospital emergency room for a thorough examination, and also took a PCR test. Jimin was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and was tested positive for COVID-19. He underwent surgery following physician advice early morning on Monday, January 31.” Furthermore, they have assured that the surgery was successful. “

According to the medical staff, “the surgery was successful and Jimin is currently recuperating after his procedure. He will be receiving a few days of in-patient treatment for COVID-19 in conjunction with postoperative care.”

The announcement also clarified that Jimin is experiencing a mild sore throat. He did not come in contact with other members recently.

Earlier, RM, Jin, Suga among others had tested COVID positive. The members excluding Jimin recently met up, if their social media update is anything to go by.
