On August 11, Georgina Rodríguez took her Instagram account and announced that she and Cristiano Ronaldo were engaged with a sweet and simple post. Sharing the exciting news with a picture of her and Ronaldo’s hands on a white comforter, she wrote, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas” which translates to, “Yes, I do. In this life and in all my lives”

As described by popular jewellery influencer Julia Chafe, Cristiano Ronaldo proposed with a stunning diamond ring that cost a whopping $3 million. The influencer posted a detailed video talking about the rarity of the precious stone and more. In the video she’s heard saying, “Should you leave your husband for not buying you a $3,000,000 engagement ring? Maybe.” As per her assessment, the precious stone on the engagement ring is a 35-carat oval-shaped diamond, D-Flawless.

Talking about it, Chafe says, “If there’s anything we know about Georgina, she’s not here to mess around. She waited nine years for that ring. She deserves it.” Julia further explained exactly why she feels the ring came with a $3M price tag. She ends the video by adding, “To wear this stone regularly, you’re going to need finger reconstruction surgery. Just imagine wearing a 100-pound kettlebell on your finger all day, every day. Painful, but worth it. If we all go home and ask our husbands at the same time for a $3,000,000 ring, I think they might say yes. The power’s in the numbers.”

Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been in a relationship for over eight years now. The soccer star introduced his now-fiancé to the world for the first time at the Best FIFA Football awards in Zurich in 2017. The couple went Instagram official in May of that same year. The duo share 3 kids together – a 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old twins (the male twin sadly passed away during childbirth).
