Doctor Strange teaser traiker

Basking in the glory of the record-breaking theatrical debut of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Marvel Studios has dropped the first teaser trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The trailer sees the return of Benedict Cumberbatch as he reprises his role as Dr Stephen Strange. This time the Sorcerer Supreme will be joined by Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlett Witch.

The trailer teases the consequences that Doctor Strange must face following his actions in No Way Home.

The trailer begins with Dr Strange wondering what is happening to the Universe. He is next seen seeking the Scarlet Witch’s help to tackle the Multiverse problem. We next catch a glimpse of   America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), and Mordo attacking a chained Doctor Strange. Mordo yells to Dr Strange that, “The greatest threat to Universe is you”.  The trailer then introduces an evil Strange who says: “Things just got out of hand.”

The sequel also features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams, who are reprising their roles as Karl Mordo, Wong, and Dr Christine Palmer. Described as the first MCU horror film, the movie is directed by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy). It is executive produced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hits theatres on May 6, 2022.
