Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been charged with new allegations of forced labor. At least one employee alleges they were coerced into sexual acts with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs due to his purported criminal conduct. A second superseding indictment filed in the Southern District of New York accuses the music mogul of verbally and physically threatening his staff. This allegation claims that the threats and intimidation led at least one employee to engage in sexual acts against their will.
Fresh Allegations On Sean Diddy Combs For Threatening Employees
The 15-page indictment, which Variety has reviewed, was filed Thursday as part of Combs’ ongoing case involving sex trafficking and racketeering. Prosecutors have included fresh allegations of abusive treatment and forced labor affecting employees across The Combs Enterprise, which encompasses Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises, Combs Global, and other known and unknown entities.
According to the indictment, which states, “From at least 2009 and continuing for years, Combs assaulted women by striking, punching, dragging, throwing objects at, and kicking them,” the violence reportedly extended beyond women to include employees and witnesses of his abuse. The indictment alleges that Combs compelled employees to “work long hours with little sleep” through physical coercion and threats of psychological, financial, and reputational harm. Many employees reportedly felt a fear of job loss should they refuse his demands.
Sean Diddy Combs’ Attorney Denies Allegations
Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ attorney, has denied these allegations, asserting that “many former employees” are prepared to support Combs. In a statement shared with Variety, Agnifilo said, “[Combs] looks forward to his day in court when it will become clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in sexual acts against their will. Many former employees stand by his side, ready to attest to the dedication, hard work, and inspiration they experienced while contributing to groundbreaking and award-winning enterprises.”
The indictment contends that Combs utilized his numerous businesses and certain employees to carry out and conceal his acts of violence, abuse, and commercial sex. Although it does not name any new victims or charges, it claims that security staff, household staff, personal assistants, and high-ranking supervisors and other close associates acted as intermediaries to facilitate Combs’ alleged sexual crimes.
Additionally, the indictment includes claims that associates of the Combs Enterprise organized “Freak Offs,” or sex parties, by booking hotel rooms and supplying them with controlled substances, lubricants, baby oil, extra linens, and lighting. Employees were also reportedly assigned to clean the hotel rooms post-events and manage travel arrangements for victims and commercial sex workers.
Charges On Sean Diddy Combs
Earlier this year, Combs faced an expanded superseding indictment that identified two new female victims and alleged that his criminal conduct began four years earlier than previously indicated. Since his arrest in September, Combs has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution, and he will remain in custody until his trial, set for May 5.
