Popular American actor Johnny Depp has won the legal battle of defamation against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, on Wednesday. The actor has decided to move on and announced his next project. He will be collaborating with guitar legend Jeff Beck for a new music album. Jeff made the announcement about their joint project with Johnny by his side.

According to Deadline, Jeff had revealed that he and his best pal Johnny, would be releasing an album together in July. Previously both Depp and Jeff had collaborated on the cover of the song ‘Isolation’ by John Lenon.

Johnny Depp had joined Jeff Beck on stage in New castle post his defamation trial win against ex-wife Amber Heard. They were joined by Musician Sam Fender, reported Deadline.

Just a day after making a surprise appearance at Jeff Beck’s show, Depp once again joined Jeff onstage at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall. Addressing the crowd, Jeff said, “I met this guy (Johnny) five years ago and we’ve never stopped laughing since. We actually made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It will be out in July.”

The news was confirmed to E! News by Depp’s representative, that Depp and Jeff’s album is indeed happening.

Johnny Depp has been in news for his high profile defamation trial. Last week, the Pirates of the Caribbean star won the defamation case between him and his ex-wife Amber Heard. The jury awarded Johnny $15 million in damages. Amber also won part of her libel case against Johnny over articles in a privately owned newspaper. The jury awarded Amber Heard $2 million in damages.
