Putting all speculation to rest, Netflix officially announced at its Tudum fan event held at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on Saturday, May 31, that Lady Gaga is joining the Wednesday family in season 2. The popular Netflix gothic series Wednesday is making a highly anticipated return with Season 2. The show will premiere in two parts starting August 6, 2025, promising darker twists, new mysteries, and familiar faces.
During Tudum 2025, Netflix confirmed that Lady Gaga will guest star in Season 2 as Rosaline Rotwood—a legendary and enigmatic teacher at Nevermore who has a fateful encounter with Wednesday. Jenna Ortega is back as Wednesday Addams, once again navigating the eerie corridors of Nevermore Academy. Lady Gaga joins the cast as a mysterious Nevermore teacher in Part 2, adding an exciting new dimension to the series.
The official logline states: “Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await.
