When Mindy Kaling came out with a story of an Indian-American teenager living in the States and her life issues after her father dies, no one expected it to become the cult show that it went out to become. People found a relatability with the character of Devi, played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, in Never Have I Ever and now it is back with its third season and the trailer of it looks amazing.

While the first season of Never Have I Ever showed Devi being a social outcast in her school and her trying to get out of it by dating the popular guy Paxton played by Darren Barnett, she eventually end up getting involved with her nemesis Ben played by Jaren Lewison. The second season picks up where the first season ends and follows Devi’s confusion between the two boys in her life while also dealing with her relationship with her mother Nalini, played by Poorna Jagannathan.

Never Have I Ever picks up with Devi and Paxton getting together and the trailer shows their relationship becoming the talk of the school. However, it’s all not smooth as the judgement of the students around her makes Devi question their relationship and the entry of a new Indian guy that catches everyone’e eye just adds to it.

The trailer promises a more fun season with a lot of issues that Devi has to deal with and Maitreyi looks all the more caught up in them. The chemistry between Devi and Paxton is completely on fire and seems like even Ben is still not out of the picture. It all is surely going to make for one interesting season.

The first two seasons of Never Have I Ever were received extremely well by the audiences and The third season of the show will have Richa Moorjani, Poorna Jagannathan, Lee Rodriguez, and Ramona Young reprising their characters with John McEnroe returning as the narrator. It starts streaming on Netflix from August 12.
