Global icon and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set to star in a new comedy film by Nicholas Stoller, alongside actor Michael Peña. The Amazon MGM Studios movie also features big names like Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in lead roles. Other actors in the cast include Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, and Billy Eichner.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Michael Pena Team Up For Nicholas Stoller’s Upcoming Comedy

Priyanka confirmed the news by sharing a screenshot of the announcement on her Instagram. The film is being written and directed by Nicholas Stoller, who is known for hit comedies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors. He recently worked with Amazon MGM on You’re Cordially Invited, which also starred Will Ferrell.

The comedy, which was earlier titled Judgment Day, tells the story of a young convict (played by Zac Efron) who takes over a live courtroom reality show. He believes the judge (played by Will Ferrell) ruined his life with a past verdict and now wants justice on live TV.

The roles of Priyanka and Michael Peña have not been revealed yet. The movie is being produced by Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown under their company Gloria Sanchez Productions, along with Stoller’s company, Stoller Global Solutions. Fans are excited to see Priyanka in another Hollywood project.
