Dwayne Johnson collaborated with Ryan Reynold and Gal Gadot for Red Notice last year. The wrestler-turned-actor again pairs up with an established actor. Yes, The Rock is collaborating with the Avengers star Chris Evans for a film titled Red One. Chris Evans will join Dwayne Johnson in Amazon Studios’ upcoming Christmas film, ‘Red One.’

Amazon Studios is developing the feature project, which is based on an original story by Hiram Garcia. The film, which is set to begin production this year, is an action-adventure comedy.

As per Deadline, Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans will star in Red One, being produced by Amazon Studios. Though not many details of the plot have been revealed, it was being said that the film will cater to audiences across demographics and will be a globe-trotting production.

Deadline report added, the project is based on an opening story written by Seven Bucks Productions’ President of Production Hiram Garcia. Jake Kasdan (Jumanji franchise) is directing from a script by Chris Morgan. Johnson confirmed his participation with the project, which is set for a Christmas release in 2023.

On the work front, Chris Evans recently made a cameo appearance in Don’t Look Up. He will next be seen in The Gray Man and a romantic film Ghosted. He will also voice Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s “Lightyear.” Chris is also in talks for a biopic on Gene Kelly that he will act and produce. Dwayne Johnson, who was last seen in Jungle Cruise has the superhero project Black Adam in his kitty.
