Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Trial: Jury Commences Deliberations In Rapper’s S*x Tr*fficking Case On Second Day After NO Verdict

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ fate rests in the hands of 12 jurors as his s*x-tr*fficking trial nears its conclusion. About an hour into deliberations, the jury sent a note to the judge expressing concern that one of their fellow jurors might not be able to follow the court’s instructions. Judge Arun Subramanian is scheduled to address a critical legal issue Tuesday morning before the 12 jurors. They are deciding on Combs’ fate, and return to Manhattan.

As reported by AP, a few hours later, they submitted a second note, inquiring about drug distribution. Jurors are expected to continue their deliberations on Tuesday morning. Over nearly 2 months, the jury has heard testimony from 34 witnesses. It includes his ex-girlfriends, former employees of Combs, male escorts, and federal agents. After 5 and a half hours of deliberation on Monday without reaching a verdict, the 12 jurors from New York are set to reconvene at Manhattan federal court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Judge Arun Subramanian is anticipated to address the jury’s concern regarding the dr*g distribution component of the racketeering conspiracy charge. It is a key legal issue in Combs’ case. This concern arose shortly after the judge provided legal instructions. After 10 minutes into deliberations, the jury noted, “We have a juror, number 25, who we are concerned cannot follow your honour’s instructions.” In response, Judge Subramanian urged the jury to continue deliberating. He reminded all members of their duty to adhere to his instructions.

About Combs’ Lawsuit

Combs faces two counts of s*x tr*fficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. And, he is also charged of racketeering conspiracy. He was arrested in September 2024. With federal authorities alleging that between 2004 and 2024, he threatened, abused, and coerced victims “to fulfil his sexual desires.” Combs, 55, denies all charges. If convicted, he could potentially face life in prison.
