Senorita’ couple Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello break up after two years of dating. One of the popular celebrity couples of the music fraternity Shawn and Camilla have called it quits. The couple has announced their break-up with a statement on social media. But they vow to continue being best friends.

The popular Hollywood couple has decided to go their separate ways. They took to social media on Wednesday, November 17 with a joint announcement. The singers shared on their Instagram stories and wrote, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. we so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward.”

The singer duo made the announcement by sharing that their love for each other was ‘stronger than ever. They added that they would continue to be best friends with each other.

Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello recorded their first collaboration in 2015, Cabello’s debut single, ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’. After that, the two released ‘Señorita’ and soon made their first public appearance as a couple in the summer of 2019. The affectionate couple quarantined together in Miami during much of the 2020 pandemic. They even attended the Met Gala together in September, showing PDA on the carpeted steps. The couple celebrated their two year anniversary in July, each uploading pictures on their social media handle.

On the work front, Camila Cabello recently starred in Amazon Prime’s musical, “Cinderella.” Camila and Shawn had also performed at the 2021 VMAs. Cabello took the stage for her hit song “Don’t Go Yet. On the other hand, while Shawn Mendes performed his hit “Summer of Love” with Tainy.
