The Naked Gun Trailer Out! ‘Detective Frank Drebin’ Liam Neeson And Pamela Anderson Join Forces For Crime Comedy; To Hit Screen In India On THIS Date- Watch

The spoof comedy opens in Indian theatres on August 1. Paramount Pictures India has today released the official trailer of the Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson-starrer, The Naked Gun. Directed by Akiva Schaffee, the film hits Indian theatres on August 1st.

Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in THE NAKED GUN, directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and from producer Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy). Joining the case are Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston. 

The film is directed by Akiva Schaffer and produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins. Schaffer wrote the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. The film also features Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston. Paramount Pictures India releases the film on August 1st.

The Naked Gun trailer also finally introduces Pamela Anderson as the bombshell Beth, who believes her brother has been murdered. Anderson gets some good gags straight out of the ZAZ handbook, as when Frank urges her to take a chair and she drags one noisily out of his office. Anderson and Nielsen are an unexpected duo, but an entertaining one nevertheless. Hopefully, they manage to solve the case before the Police Squad gets turned into a Spirit Halloween. The Naked Gun, which is directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer, premieres in theatres on August 1.
