Tom Cruise makes epic entry at world premiere of Top Gun: Maverick

Hollywood star Tom Cruise’ will soon be seen in the action flick Top Gun Maverick. It is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie marks the return of Tom as the iconic character of Pete Maverick Mitchell from the 1986 drama. Ahead of the film’s debut at Cannes, Paramount unveiled the action film on Wednesday. The actor made an epic entry at the premiere in a helicopter.

Tom Cruise looked dapper as he touched down for the red carpet premiere event in a USS Midway helicopter that he piloted himself. The actor looked suave as he posed alongside his film co-stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly and more.

Top Gun Maverick has the Mission: Impossible actor reprising his role of Maverick. The forthcoming action drama was shot over two years ago but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The movie also features Miles Teller, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Jay Ellis, Monica Barbaro, Danny Ramirez, Greg Tarzan Davis and Val Kilmer as Iceman.

Top Gun Maverick will officially hit the theatres on May 27 ahead of Memorial Day Weekend after screening at the Cannes Film Festival in the middle of this month.
