What’s It About:

‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ revolves around the life of Abhinav “Chintu” Tyagi (Kartik Aaryan). After completing his engineering he ties the knot with Vedika Tripathi (Bhumi Pednekar) and they have a beautiful married life, but it all goes downhill when he falls for Tapasya Singh (Ananya Panday). How Chintu balances his life between these two ladies, forms the rest of the plot.

What’s Hot:

The entire movie is a laugh riot and there is never a dull moment. Kartik’s chemistry with both Bhumi and Ananya is great. This rom-com has all the usual ingredients that we have in Kartik Aaryan starrer- a monologue, extremely funny one-liners and a humongous mess up. Bhumi and Ananya looked absolutely gorgeous and lived up to the characters quite well.

But a special mention has to go to Aparshakti Khurana, who has done a spot-on job and if he wasn’t there in the movie it might have just fallen flat. His comic timing is great and all his one-liners hit the bullseye.

Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon’s special appearances were very much welcome and they didn’t feel like a waste. The plot of the movie is nothing that we don’t already know of but the way it was portrayed made the difference. The music of ‘Pati Patni Air Woh’ was also great and not a single track was out of place. Obviously ‘Dheeme Dheeme’ song was a standout.

What’s Not:

There isn’t really much in the movie that was a downer at all.

Verdict:

‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ is a great one-time watch and will keep you glued to the seat. The whole high paced Chase will keep you on the edge and Aparshakti’s dialogues will have you cracking up every moment. I give this movie 3.5 stars.

Box-Office:
Considering that there is one other prominent movie(‘Panipat’) releasing at the box office, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ might suffer due to it. But it may do fairly well if the other one fails to live up to the hype.
