EXCLUSIVE: Baby Actress Madhurima Tuli To Play Rekha In Her Biopic?

Actress Madhurima Tuli has always been recognised and admired for her ability to camouflage into any role undertaken professionally. So far, we have seen her slay in all mediums of entertainment, starting from TV, reality shows and OTT to movies, and currently, the actress is completely focused on moving ahead towards a strong and impactful career in Bollywood. Madhurima Tuli To Play Rekha In Her Biopic

Recently, the ‘Baby’ actress was asked about one legendary actress whose biopic she would love to be a part of. Reacting to this, Madhurima Tuli had the most heartwarming answer, going all praises for the legendary Rekha. The actress shared with Bollywood Bubble, “To be honest, there are many beautiful, wonderful and inspiring actresses in our industry whose impeccable work has left a profound positive impact in my life. However, right now, immediately, if I have to pick up one name, I would have to talk about the one and only Rekha ji. Although she is the only and irreplaceable, I feel my personality and traits have a lot of similarity with hers.”

She added, “I am personally very culturally and traditionally rooted in terms of my value system, and so is she. Her grace and warmth lie in her ethnicity, and I, too, have similar shades in my personality. The ‘nazakat’ and finesse that she has in her personality are simply sensational, and I have always admired that. So, if there’s ever a biopic on Rekha ji being made, it would be an absolute honour to be the face of the film and try my best to play her on-screen.”

Madhurima On Rekha’s Personality

Concluding, Tuli said, “Like I said, there’s only one Rekha ji. But I will definitely put my best foot forward to do justice to her magnanimous personality if I ever get to play her on-screen. It would be an absolute privilege and honour. And I really manifest that it happens someday so that I can make Rekha ji herself, all her fans and all my well-wishers proud and happy.”

From emotionally-driven and charged roles on-screen to playing roles that are fierce, strong, empowering and women-centric, the actress has so far done it all to establish her niche with her craft. However, if there’s one genre that the actress is yet to tap into, it has to be the world of biopics.
