‘Rangoon’ first day collection: Unfortunately the film has collected a disappointing amount

‘Rangoon’ starring Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor was expected to take the box office by storm. However, unfortunately that has not happened. The movie started on a very slow note and the first day collection is really disappointing.

The Vishal Bhardwaj directorial has collected approx. Rs 4.75-5 crore on day one which is very bad. It’s a film made on a high budget and a double digit could have been perfect for the film. As the reviews are mostly positive, we can expect the film to grow. However, to collect a decent amount on its first weekend, the film has to show a huge jump today and tomorrow. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Jolly LL.B 2’ was stable on its third Friday. The film approx. collected Rs 1.75 crore. The till date total of the film is Rs 98.23 crore. It might reach the 100 crore club today.
