Noor movie

Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Noor‘ has had a disastrous box office business on its first Monday. The movie did a business of Rs 60 lakhs nett and that’s a huge drop of 50% from the Friday numbers of Rs 1.25 crore. The total four-day business of the movie is Rs 5.20 crore nett and that’s very disappointing. The first week should finish at around Rs 6.75 crore nett which is very bad. The past few weeks had many other heroine oriented movies like Anushka Sharma’s ‘Phillauri’, Taapse Pannu’s ‘Naam Shabana’ and Vidya Balan’s ‘Begum Jaan’, but Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Noor’ has done the worst business amongst all these movies. ‘Naam Shabana’ has collected Rs 37 crore nett, ‘Phillauri’ has done a business of Rs 25 crore nett, ‘Begum Jaan’ has done around Rs 19 crore nett and ‘Noor’ will not even be able to earn Rs 10 crore nett.

Its’ quite disappointing that the movie has done such a poor business and it also indicates that Sonakshi’s solo project could not fare well.
