After a lot of struggle the makers of ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha‘ finally got the clearance to release their film. The trailer of the film was released recently and it made clear why CBFC did not want us to watch this film. ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ dwells into the secret lives of four women who are somewhere suppressed by the so-called ‘men’ of the society. It is a realistic yet fun take on what it takes to be a woman in this male-dominant society. It is bold on several levels and hence, CBFC did not want the audience to see it. But, the film is all set to release on July 21 and much to the delight of the makers the trailer of this film has garnered massive response from the audience. Within no time, it has managed to cross 3 million views.

Balaji Motion Pictures, the presenters of ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, have shared this on their Twitter handle.
