Aamir Khan talks about Bengaluru molestation incident

Many would be aware that during the New Year 2017 celebrations, Bengaluru city faced a horrific and shameful incident where women were molested despite all the security measures. After this incident, recently, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was asked by the reporters at an event about it, to which the actor responded saying that all are saddened and ashamed when something like this happens in our country.

Strongly criticising the incident, Aamir Khan said, “What happened in Bengaluru was very sad. We all are saddened and feel ashamed when something like this happens in our country. Every state government should take a step for this. I don’t think there is just one solution for this. You see in America, if an incident like this happens, within two-three months the guilty person is punished and the case is closed. When this changes, I feel there will be a big change.”

“In today’s age, people who misbehave with girls think ‘nothing will happen to us.’ When such examples come in front of us, that whoever did this is behind bars within 2-3 months, and continuously if we see this, situations will change. There will be fear among people which is a very important thing,” added the ‘Dangal’ star.

Not only Aamir Khan, other B-Town celebs like veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Varun Dhawan have also taken to Twitter to voice their views about this issue.
