Akshay Kumar spreads a social message with this video of daughter Nitara helping a thirsty cat

Actor Akshay Kumar may be busy doing back-to-back movies every year, but he manages to churn out time to support social causes he strongly believes in. He has now lent his support to PM Narendra Modi’s initiative on #MannKiBaat where Mr Modi emphasises on the need to offer water to birds and animals in summer season. Akshay has tweeted in support of Mr Modi’s initiative and he has also given a glaring example right from his house. Well, the actor has uploaded a video where we see ihs little daughter Nitara offering milk in a bowl to a thirsty cat. He has captioned the video as, “Coincidentally was urging Nitara 2 offer milk to the cat today.The heat spares nobody offer water 2 everyone who visits ur home.Humanity 1st.” Watch the video below:

In the recent few weeks, the actor has been actively participating in many social causes. He came up with the amazing initiative of Bharat Ke Veer wherein people are free to donate money for the families of martyred Indian soldiers of paramilitary forces. The website and the app has been getting a good response as many people have come forward and offered donations. Another good initiative undertaken by Mr Kumar was to provide insurance cover for stunt artistes. He launched a new insurance scheme for the stunt artistes of Bollywood, who risk their lives. Now that he is lending his support to this new initiative, we are sure people will start taking it seriously and help the animals and birds too. (Also Read: What! On the work front, the actor will next be seen in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ with Bhumi Pednekar which is releasing on August 11, 2017. Then he has ‘PadMan’ with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in his kitty which is slated for a December release.
