Akshay Kumar on ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ app

Akshay Kumar is one star who is doing whatever is in his stride to help and support martyrs’ families. Many would know that the actor has launched ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ app and website, an initiative for the willing donors who want to contribute towards the family of martyred soldiers who have sacrificed their life while doing their duty. However, despite creating something so good, Akshay is not at peace and is not happy. Reason being, that soon after the launch of the app and website, many fraudulent ones have cropped up, cashing on the initiative.

Akshay took to his Twitter handle to share the same with everyone. He wrote, “Sad to know & share lots of fraudulent apps/sites are doing the rounds, the only initiative I am associated with is http://bharatkeveer.gov.in ??.” [sic] (Also Read: What! We agree that it is a disgusting move to ape someone else’s efforts. We appreciate Akshay’s coming forward and slamming these wrong doers.

Talking about films, the actor will next be seen in ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ along with actress Bhumi Pednekar. Currently he is busy shooting for ‘PadMan’ which stars him along with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The actor also has science fiction film ‘2.0’ in his kitty along with superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson.

‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ is slated to hit the screens on August 11, 2017.
