Amitabh Bachchan

As a part of UK-India Year of Culture launch being held in Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II had extended an invitation to Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan to attend the event. But unfortunately, Big B has declined the offer.

As per the reports, due to his commitments, Amitabh Bachchan won’t be able to be a part of this gathering and hence has declined the invitation. Quite a few well known personalities from India would be a part of this function.

Confirming the same to a leading tabloid, Big B’s publicist stated, “Yes, Mr Bachchan has been extended a rare invitation by Queen Elizabeth and Buckingham Palace to grace the UK-India Cultural Year reception. Unfortunately, however, he will be unable to attend due to prior commitments.”

Sad, but it’s okay!

Talking about Mr Bachchan’s films, he would soon be seen in the third instalment of ‘Sarkar’. He would reprise his role from the first two instalments. Apart from that Big B also has ‘Aankhen 2’ and ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in his kitty. He would be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in this one.  (ALSO READ: Amitabh Bachchan to be a part of Kabir Khan’s next?)
