Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar have a sweet tweet exchange over #ShashiWasThere

Actress-producer Anushka Sharma’s ‘Phillauri’ has been over winning hearts with its fresh storyline and beautiful songs. As the release date is coming near the makers have come up with an very innovative idea to promote it. The ones who have seen the trailer know that Anushka’s character Shashi is a ghost in the film, so with #ShashiWasThere the makers have shown that this character of Shashi (Anushka) was present in different time zones with some interesting incidents of that period. Owing to this, recently, Anushka had a sweet tweet exchange with her co-star of ‘Bombay Velvet’, and filmmaker, Karan Johar.

Anushka took to her Twitter handle to share a image of popular Bollywood film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ with her character of Shashi present in it along with the stars of this film, actors Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. She wrote, “Koi mujhe bataye yeh teeno mujh pe ungli kyun utha rahein the? #ShashiWasThere.” [sic]

After this tweet, filmmaker Karan Johar replied to the same saying, “Haha!!!! They knew you would make the film into a big hit!!! They were grateful Shashi!!! #Phillauri.” [sic]

This sweet conversation continued with Anushka Sharma replying to the director, “Nahin nahin Karanji.Hit toh aap sab ki mehnat se bani.Main toh bas aap sab ko dekhne aayi thi.waise aap bhi bohat acche lag rahe the us din?.” [sic]

Talking about ‘Phillauri’, it is directed by Anshai Lal and also stars Diljit Dosanjh and ‘Life Of Pi’ fame actor Suraj Sharma. It is slated to release on March 24, 2017.
