Priyanka Chopra is on cloud nine after her debut Marathi production, ‘Ventilator’, got her three National Awards. The film which talks about a family dealing with a sudden ailment, won awards for Best Editing, Best Sound Mixing and also Best Director – Rajesh Mapuskar.

The actress naturally was thrilled and released a statement expressing how happy she was for her team.

Priyanka has always been a daddy’s girl. The actress also has the words ‘daddy’s lil girl’ inked on her hand and after her big win, she dedicated the film to her late dad. She said, “I also wanted to make this film for my father and I know he would have been very proud right now.” The emotional PeeCee also took to Instagram to share a throwback video in which her father is seen singing in his beautiful voice.

She captioned the video as, “It’s the most incredible gift to be born to such wonderful parents. For making all My dreams come true and never letting me settle…My extremely talented, gifted,kind “life of a party” father and my resilient, strong and gentle mother @madhuchopra who is also my producing partner for @purplepebblepictures. I miss u so much dad. What an incredible voice. Always my inspiration. The actress will next be seen in her Hollywood debut, ‘Baywatch.’
