Fox Star Studios extends full support to Karan Johar for the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

Amidst all the issues that Karan Johar is facing for his soon to release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘, the co-producers of this romantic drama Fox Star Studios, who are also distributing it, have extended their full support to the filmmaker.

Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios has given a statement saying, “Karan Johar is a proud, emotional and patriotic Indian like all of us and his nationalism cannot be questioned. Fox Star Studios India, wholeheartedly stands by him at this time.” [sic]

The team of Fox Star Studios is gearing up for the release of the movie which is nine days away from now. The have even met a Mumbai Police representative on Tuesday to urge for protection of theatres which will screen the movie.

“We have been assured that the police will provide protection to all theatres, including single screens and multiplexes, should there be any requirement,” added Singh.

This statement has been given by Vijay Singh after the short video of Karan Johar was released online where he expressed his thoughts, finally breaking his silence over the threats issued by the political party MNS.

Further, Vijay Singh has added saying that, “We unequivocally condemn the terror attacks on India and support the government of India in all its effort to bring safety and peace for Indians. The film has been made by an Indian director — film’s actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are all Indians; the crew who have worked tirelessly on this film to see their labour of love in theatres with their families are all Indians.” [sic]

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is slated to release on October 28, 2016.
