The last season of Karan Johar‘s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ grabbed a lot of attention, thanks to that one statement made by Kangana Ranaut over nepotism. She called him as “the flagbearer of nepotism” and that one statement was enough to give rise to a huge debate over nepotism. He even took to his blog and wrote a cryptic post on Twitter, which read, “Dear Nepotism…can you pave the way for skepticism and cynicism….both these words also want to be famous!!!!”

Now, in an interview with Anupam Kher, Kangana once again slammed Karan Johar over the nepotism debate. She said, “Honestly, the debate did not affect me at all. I am quite self-sufficient at this point of time in my life as I have also launched my own production house. I want to propagate my story and there should be nothing wrong about it. When Karan Johar posted a blog on nepotism, I felt it was more of a brainwash than being objective.”

She further added, “The problem is the English-speaking crowd instils inferiority complex. So, when he said that people who don’t have contacts in the industry don’t stand a chance, then it is a lie. Kids born in the industry, with all due respect, will have more impact in their first audition because they have been groomed for this day from their childhood. But that doesn’t mean the outsiders don’t stand a chance as you never know they might succeed in life after 10 years.” Also Read: Karan Johar: Can’t describe the feeling when I held my children for the first time)
