Manisha Koirala nervous Dear Maya

Manisha Koirala has given some brilliant performances in films like ‘1942: A Love Story’, ‘Bombay’, ‘Khamoshi: The Musical’, ‘Dil Se..’, ‘Lajja’, ‘Company’, and many more. The actress is now all set to make her comeback with Sunaina Bhatnagar’s ‘Dear Maya’. Recently, the trailer of the film was launched and Manisha stated that she was nervous throughout the shooting of the film.

When she was asked if it was if it was intimidating to face the camera again, the actress said, “Absolutely. No matter how many times we do it, every time during the first day and the first film, my stomach knots and I get nervous. I hope during the whole process of doing the movie my director didn’t get to know I was nervous.”

“Honestly, I was very nervous. I wasn’t sure whether I was doing it right or wrong… A lot has changed in cinema, so I had to adjust to all that. Till the end of the shooting, I was nervous,” she added. (Also Read: Manisha Koirala: I’ve been waiting to get to work with Ranbir)

Manisha further stated that she waiting for a role like this. She said, “As an actor, I’ve done so many movies, but we are constantly starving to get good roles, which are performance-oriented. It’s a new area for an actor to venture into. Whenever there is an opportunity like that, I want to grab it…”

‘Dear Maya’ is slated to hit the screens on June 2, 2017. The trailer of the film is being liked by everyone.
