No! Shah Rukh Khan has not been roped in for SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’

Since yesterday there have been many reports about Shah Rukh Khan being roped in for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2’. The reports suggested that Shah Rukh Khan will have a special cameo in the movie which is titled as ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. Unfortunately, it is not true. The makers of ‘Baahubali 2’ have confirmed the same on Twitter. They have clearly stated that they would have loved to have him on board, but it is just a rumour and there is no truth to it. Here’s the tweet:

We are highly disappointed because it would have been amazing to see King Khan in a movie like ‘Baahubali 2’. The first part ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ released in 2015 and the gripping storyline with fabulous performances made it one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The movie also left a very pertinent question on every person’s mind as to “Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?”

The sequel will be releasing on April 28 this year and stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan in lead roles.
