Pahlaj Nihalani

Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ has fallen under the scissors of CBFC,after they spotted the word ‘intercourse’ in the film’s second mini trailer. CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani feels it is inappropriate to be showcased to children as they might want to know what it means; and hence an U/A certificate can’t be given. CBFC also demanded that the word has to go before the trailer airs on television.

In a conversation with Mirror Now, Nihalani challenged the publication to get 1 lakh votes defending the usage of the word ‘intercourse’, and he would clear both the trailer and the film. (Also Read: Neetu Chandra celebrates her birthday, cuts the cake with Pahlaj Nihalani)

However, the board is all in for issuing an ‘A’ certificate. “We have no issues with respect to giving the movie an ‘A’ certification,” Nihalani said.

A number of TV channels have reportedly aired the trailer, sourcing it from the internet. The board is likely to call for actions against them.
