Sidharth Malhotra opens up on getting married

Every other day, we spot Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt together. However, they both remained tight-lipped about their rumoured affair and haven’t spoken a word about it!

Both Sidharth and Alia are going great guns on their respective professional front. Alia received critical acclaim for her performance in recent releases like ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’. Sidharth is also set to star in a number of interesting films including the remake of ‘Ittefaq’. What could be a better time to be hitched?

While talking to a leading daily, Sid threw a major hint. “My mother is still at that phase where she asks me, ‘Beta, are you still working?’ They belong to the typical, middle-class section and are still concerned with kaam kaisa chal raha hai. Household thing or settling down will happen with time. Hopefully, before my 30s end. At least that’s the plan,” he said. Any pressure from family on getting hitched? “I have no pressure from my parents to get married. At least, it hasn’t started yet. My parents are definitely liberal. But none of my cousins or close relatives was pressurised to marry at a certain age or to take up a certain profession or anything,” he added.
