Alia Bhatt congratulates SOTY classmate Varun Dhawan on becoming a dad, says, “Another little girl who is going to rule the world”

Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their first child, a baby girl on 3^rd June. The actor even shared an adorable video announcing the arrival of the little one. Ever since the announcement, congratulatory messages have been pouring in from all corners for the actor. However, his student of the year co-star Alia Bhatt shared the sweetest wish for Varun and Natasha.

On Tuesday, Alia reposted Varun’s official arrival announcement for his baby girl on her own Instagram Stories, along with a sweet message. “Joy, joy and pure joy,” Alia wrote in the message. She added, “Another little girl who is going to rule the world. Congratulations dearest Nat and VD”.

Apart from Alia, filmmaker Karan Johar also wished student Varun in an adorable way. Not only this, even VD’s close friend Arjun Kapoor showered love. Other celebs like Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, among others extended heartfelt wishes.

Varun started his acting journey in Bollywood with Alia. They made their debut together in 2012 through Student of The Year, and went on to do films such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Kalank.

When Varun announced pregnancy

Varun and Natasha tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2021. The couple announced their pregnancy in February by posting a beautiful image in which Varun was seen kissing on Natasha’s baby bump with pet dog Joey in frame. He wrote, “We are pregnant, Need all your blessings and love.”

On the work front, the actor will next be seen in Citadel Indian version alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He will also be seen reuniting with Bawaal co-star Janhvi Kapoor for Kaan Johar’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. Varun is also gearing up for Baby John aka VD 18 which is bankrolled by Jawan director Atlee.
