After a good time, Soha Ali Khan would be seen on the silver screen in a film called ‘31st October.’ The movie that has been produced by Harry Sachdeva has a backdrop on Indira Gandhi’s assassination. So when the film came to the Central Board of Film’s Certification, the authorities have suggested 9 cuts in the film before giving it a green signal. The scenes that have been chopped off from the film are those which include a lot of bloodshed and violence.

As per the reports, this film took almost 4 months to get a clearance from the CBFC as the makers wanted to retain the important scene which were asked to chop off by the authorities. Even though they managed to retain a few, they had to bring about 9 major changes in the film to get a clearance from CBFC.

Talking about Soha Ali’s character in the film, she plays the role of a Sikh woman who tries to save herself, her twin sons and a year old daughter in the horrifying riots which took place after Indira Gandhi’s assassination.
