Sridevi did not speak to Boney Kapoor for three long months. Here’s why…

After a gap of 5 years, veteran actress Sridevi is back with a bang with her upcoming film ‘MOM’. After the nail-biting teaser, we were recently treated to the trailer of this thriller, the launch event of which took place in Mumbai. The actress had arrived here at the event along with her husband Boney Kapoor who is also one of the producers of the film. While sharing tit bits and info about the film and their experiences during the shoot, Sridevi revealed an interesting incident. The actress said that she had decided not to talk to her husband Boney Kapoor for three long months.

During the trailer launch, she said, “For three months, I did not speak to Boney Ji as a husband. I used to greet him good morning and after pack up, I used to wish him goodnight- that’s all we spoke. That was the only conversation I had with him.” [sic]

This must have been quite an ordeal for the lady. After all, it is not easy to go so deep into the character of the movie, that you distance yourself from your reality, just so your connection with reel is not broken. Hats off! Well, after taking a look at the trailer of ‘MOM’, we can say that the Sridevi’s dedication towards her character Devki, a mother, is visible. Needless to say we have huge expectations from her, and can’t wait to catch the multiple layers of her character, on big screen.

‘MOM’ also stars actors Akshaye Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing interesting roles in it. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is slated to release on July 7, 2017.
