Asha Bhosle Recreated Song Tauba Tauba's Viral Hookstep

Asha Bhosle passed away at the age of 92 after battling health complications for some time. Renowned as one of the most celebrated voices of her era, she not only thrived beyond living in the shadow of her sister Lata Mangeshkar’s greatness but also carved out her own unique space in Hindi playback singing with her genre-defying voice. Her last public performance was in 2024 in Dubai, proving Asha Bhosle continued to stay connected with the latest trends, like her recreating the Tauba Tauba song.

Her final major concert was the Asha Bhosle & Sonu Nigam Legacy Concert held on December 29, 2024, at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. During the show, she captivated audiences with her spontaneous dance to the hit song Tauba Tauba. As the music played, she grooved and mimicked the viral hook step made famous by Vicky Kaushal. It quickly became a viral social media sensation and sparked a frenzy online.

Popular singer Karan Aujla expressed his admiration for her. He shared, “@asha.bhosle ji, the living goddess of music, just performed Tauba Tauba… a song written by a young artist from a small village, with no formal musical background or instruments. This melody, crafted without traditional training, has garnered immense love from fans and fellow musicians alike. Witnessing this moment was truly iconic—something I will never forget. I feel blessed and inspired to keep creating melodies and making more memories with you.”
